Brook Farm Veterinary Center is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association. Our practice provides veterinary care for small animals. We are committed to excellence in the provision of professional care for your pets. They are, after all, members of your family - so we treat them like members of ours.

Dr. Evan Kanouse was born and raised in northern New Jersey, and went to undergraduate and graduate school at Kansas State University. Upon graduating in 1975, he settled in New Paltz, N.Y., practicing small animal medicine and some equine medicine as well. Dental care is a must for your pet! Regular dental cleanings and frequent brushing do more than just keep your pet's teeth clean and stop "doggy breath" - proper dental care prevents the development of periodontal disease, a condition that can permanently damage your pet's teeth. If left untreated, bacteria resulting from periodontal disease can circulate through your pet's bloodstream, causing damage to the heart, liver and other internal organs.

Brook Farm Veterinary Center performs a full range of veterinary dental procedures, including complete dental cleanings and minor dental extractions.
